I personally have seen 5 versions of this legend and understand there are several more.  The re-release that I am seeding is the one with Koshiro Matsumoto as Chamberlain Kuranosuke Oishi.  It shows Torshiro Mifune on the cover but while I am a major fan of his, this is not his movie.  He has a side part but is the most famous of the actors.  It is over 3 1/2 hours long with hard encoded English subs.
I would have to say that for me this is the best as it captures the spirit and soul of those involved.  

I will be adding classic style action films from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand.  
All will be DVD-R

I now have a total of 8 films of this historical truth, including 2 named 47 Ronin by Ken Ichikawa(1992). You will find that this like several of my torrents has a picture of a hibiscus inserted where xtra menus go.

Am not aware of how but these are not the files in my original torrent. Tried to delete to no avail. This is crap quality so I will run up another torrent with the correct files.
